Marcmandy Design creates websites for under-served individuals, businesses of one,
very small businesses, and starving musicians and artists who would benefit from having a web-presence. There are many other services that we provide.
We are dedicated to personalized service. We will not take on more than two large jobs at once. We will do more smaller projects, but not at the expense of sacrificing attentiveness to the larger projects.
"We" are my wife, Cheryl and myself, two younger retirees with a great deal of experience in the business world as well as the computing world. Between us we have spent all of our adult lives preparing for this venture, even if we didn't know it at the time.

I am a photographer specializing in macro photography, flash-less existing-light photography and performance photography. I can do event photography and I can photograph your product.
I create photo collages, photo albums/books from your digital files as well as scan and recover old or damaged slides and pictures.
I have experience with Desktop Publishing, creating stationary and business cards, and even the mundane form creation for the old-fashioned clipboard.
I draw on my 35 years of experience in the printing industry as well as my many years of photographic, design, writing, and audio skills and experiences as are described on my "About" page. Cheryl draws on her experiences in business and teaching software in that environment.
We are both literate writers and speakers. We perform quick and clear copy-writing and copy-editing. We both have experience assisting people for whom English is a second language by correcting grammatical errors and clarifying what they are trying to express.
We are computer literate in two platforms and comfortable with computing as well as teaching. Among the programs I use are Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, DreamWeaver, and Adobe's new entry into Website Design, Adobe Muse, which was used to create this site as well as Microsoft's Office Suite. I am also proficient in desktop audio editing with SoundForge and Fission. Cheryl is proficient in Microsoft Office and uses Photoshop. She has an excellent eye for composition and copy editing and is experienced at management.
